Henna after care

At Hafsa’s henna we always use 100% natural henna paste (handmade from 100% natural ingredients) for your safety and the most darkest/richest stains, for all your events.

How to take care of your henna(very important)

  • Bride should get henna two days ahead of wedding to get darkest stain possible.
  • You are advised to get your waxing, pedicure, manicure and tanning done before the henna application as these can ruin your henna design and stain. Please follow all the instruction including aftercare instructions to get the richest stain possible
  • Before your henna application, make sure you haven’t recently put any lotion or sanitizer on your hands. and wash your hands and feet with soap and warm water and ensure they are oil free.
  • To get dark stain it is recommended to leave henna on your hands sealed for 8-10 hours and overnight if possible.
  • Once your henna is dry, seal it with lemon sugar water and/or medical tape to help the design stay in its place and moisten. as henna will only stain if its wet.
  • After applying lemon sugar, heat your henna for around 5-10 minutes with blow dryer
  • DO NOT WRAP YOUR HENNA WITH ANY PLASTIC OR RUBBER GLOVES OR WRAPS.
  • You can also use clove smoke on your henna by putting a pan/skillet on stove and place clove on it and put your hands in smoke coming from clove ,be safe
  •  remove your henna by just scrubbing it off. You can use back of spoon or butter knife. If its sticky you can use baby oil or cooking oil. Don’t use water to remove your henna. Don’t use water on your hands for another 12 hours (if you must use water, try wearing gloves or apply Vaseline)
  • Put olive oil or coconut oil and keep your hands warm and away from water.

Sorry, but we will not be responsible for the stain if these instructions are not followed.
Note: the darkness of the stain depends on the level of internal body temperature in every individual, therefore the stain can vary from person to person, as well as type of body part henna is applied to.
